Global Voice Networking

Last Updated: 27th February 2010

What happens if the Voice Router goes wrong?

Unlikely, however the Voice Router does have a unique fail-over feature

In the unlikely event that a Voice Router went wrong then Voice VPN calls would be lost however subsequent calls would be routed back via the PSTN until the Voice Router problem is resolved.

Because the Voice Route sits between the PBX and PSTN then calls would be routed transparently through the Voice Route as if it did not exist even if the power is disconnected.

Remember also that Global Voice Networking’s solution does not rely on a central call control server which could failure.
