Does the Voice VPN support off-net calling?

Yes, our Voice VPN supports off-net calling in two ways:

1. Toll-bypass:
Using the Voice VPN, if an international call is dialled the Voice Router can intelligently re-route the call to an appropriate Voice Router and company PBX in the destination country. Therefore the off-net part of the call is made via the most appropriate in-country destination PSTN service. An expensive international call now becomes a low-cost local call. Off-net calling is configurable based on your company’s particular requirements and any in-country regulatory constraints.

2. SIP Trunks:
In Global Voice Networking can provide the capability connect your PBX network to the public telephone network via SIP Trunks. This provides off-net calling with competitive rates and allows your business to grow without buying new PSTN trunks. All PBXs connected to the Voice VPN can benefit from this SIP Trunking capability
